Job Summary: The Mental Health Worker II has primary responsibility for Brewer Porch Children's Center client safety. This position is also responsible for the implementation of client treatment plans, and the supervision of Mental Health Workers.


Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience working with emotionally disturbed children or at least two years of college coursework in special education, psychology, social work, education, counseling, behavioral or social science, communicative disorders or a closely related field and some related work experience. Must successfully complete health screening after offer of employment has been made.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have a valid U.S. driver's license required. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier. Must be able to perform client restraint and seclusion techniques. Final candidates who are not current Brewer-Porch Children's Center employees must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
