Job Summary: The Manager Media Services is responsible for the oversight and administration of the creative media team. Responsibilities include providing direction during all phases of field and studio productions and collaborating with academic partners to deliver impactful academic and marketing video.


Additional Department Summary: Reporting to the Assistant Director of Instructional Technology, the Media Manager is responsible for the oversight and administration of the creative media team. Responsibilities include directing all phases of field and studio productions, personnel management, strategic planning, budget forecasting, project assessment, partnership building, and collaborating with faculty, staff, and academic administrators in the delivery of high impact academic and marketing video medias.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in media, film production, communication, education, or instructional design and four years (4) of experience in media production; OR Master's degree in media, film production, communication, education, or instructional design and two (2) years of experience in media production.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.


Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of all phases of video production, including preproduction, production, and post. Ability to patiently collaborate with partners to develop creative and effective academic and marketing media. Ability to manage a highly productive team responsible for multiple ongoing projects with strict deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Experience managing multiple location video productions.
